York Daily Record wrote:O'Donnell contributes: The Liberty football team is 8-2 overall and 5-0 in the Big South Conference heading into a big game against Stony Brook on Saturday on Long Island. And, redshirt junior Kyle O'Donnell (Dallastown) will be right in the middle of things.

O'Donnell is a 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker who has seen action on special teams as well as third down defense for the Flames. In 10 games, he has 27 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery.

"Kyle has been an outstanding player in our program the past several years," coach Danny Rocco said. "He makes a contribution each and every week, and we are excited about next season when he'll be a senior and should be a starter."

Injuries have held O'Donnell back this season but he keeps battling his way onto the field.

"Kyle has excellent speed and instincts for the ball, and he's been a big hitter on kickoffs and punt returns in addition to his play on defense," Rocco said.
