...and with that we can put away the notion that JMU was a bad loss. They are STILL a top-25 team.

Liberty Total=16.25
2008 Maine Total=13.25
Still going to have to climb 4 more spots or so to have a shot IMO.

I think I remember the Polls coming out last year before the selection, but does the GPI come out again, or is this it?

We moved up 4 spots, how are we getting screwed? I agree we'll more than likely be kept out, but how are we getting screwed by the gpi?

What data do you have to support your somewhat vague argument?

Agreed Coastalfan. Let's hope some dominos fall this weekend! EWU,Montana St. and Weber St. losing would be a great start!

There are also two winners of autobid conferences ranked behind us.
21. Holy Cross (Patriot)
22. Eastern Illinois (OVC)

One additional note in the GPI is that the Big South is now ranked 7th, as opposed to a couple of weeks ago where we were with the ivy...The stronger our conference the better.

Does anyone know where we stood this time last year in the GPI?

What were we smoking last year that made us think we had a shot at an at-large? There is a night and day comparison between last year and this year. We are MUCH closer to an at-large this time around!

You guys have to realize when comparing against last year that we had a huge jump from the win over Elon. We jumped all the way to #14 in the GPI. I don't know if we will be that high this time next week.

Doubt it, unless EWU or others lose.

JC, we we're 18th in the Final GPI, behind Maine, William and Mary, Elon, and UMass.
We were 14 in the HUMAN polls, not the GPI.
