Not to undermine Sly's thread, but we are obviously scoreboard watching the rest of the season. Lots of games to keep an eye on.

A couple games going on early:
Hofstra 7
Delaware 14
7:09 2nd quarter
Either team that loses becomes ineligible for the playoffs

Northeastern 0
Umass 17
2:59 2nd quarter
A loss would eliminate UMass

Holy Cross 3
Lehigh 7
2:55 1st quarter

colgate is in the red zone. Wouldnt it be better for hofstra to beat Deleware?

I don't think it will matter either way. one more loss for either of those teams eliminate them and Delaware still has to play Navy and Villanova.

yeah but hofstra's only remaining challenge is UMass which isnt as definite of a loss as UD at Navy

Laffy marches right back in 4 plays and scores a TD of their own, should be 24-21

We have a MUCH better shot of getting in over a 7-4 Hofstra (which is what they'd be if they won out) than we do a 8-3 Delaware.

I dont really think it will matter much as I see both of them losing after this game which would make them both ineligible regardless of what happens today.

If Umass wins out, don't you think they'll make it over us? I think they will. It sucks, but I think that's what will happen.

Laffy kicks a field goal, theres like 10 seconds left but i assume colgate just lets it ride after the kick off

Doesnt have any significance for us, but URI could potentially pull an upset over UNH today, theyve been battling back all day and hanging right in there with UNH

The CAA is such a strong conference with parity from top to bottom that a 1-7 Rhode Island team is trading punches with #7 New Hampshire

No toes stepped on here in Houston. I was at my son's game and didn't get a chance to update the opponents scoreboard. It is now up to date.

Obviously there are other games we will be watching beyond those involving teas we play in '09.

URI scores a TD and fails at the 2-pt conversion, down 36-38 with 12 minutes left
