It's not HD, but you can see what's happening just fineGreat idea. If I'm free to watch, I usually hook-up the laptop to the team's theatre. Main purpose is scouting & film breakdown, but I like this use, too!

If not, you can use regular AV cables, but a Canopus Box and a removable vid card are usually also necessary. This way is a hassle.

And maybe just forget about the rest- no way the wife oks a cannibus boxAV's are the Red/White/Yellow cords. Red & White are audio, Yellow is video. These are the most common inputs to most older TV units. Using these, your order from computer to TV: laptop to vid card to fire wire to Canopus (not cannibus) Box to AV's to TV. All of this (and the expense of a Canopus) is why other methds are much simpler.

PAmedic wrote:ooohhhhh.Yes, like some printer cables. Ironically, however, most newer model printers in my experience connect to a PC via USB.
like a printer cable? I might have one of them.
I don't know if my laptop has that though- I think it just has USB ports.
and I'm actually impressed that I know what USB ports are.
thanks for the help tho

Im envisioning the old school paper that was all connected and you had to tear the sheets via the perforated line in order to make them singular. you then had to tear off the extra random sides full of holes that I never understood what purpose those hadPAmedic wrote:ooohhhhh.Yes, like some printer cables.
