No love for the Flames in the Coaches poll.

I don't want to beat a dead horse, :beatinghorse but what the heck is App. State still doing in the Top Ten? Can't someone good beat them already? A close win against the Citadel and Wofford... Atleast we beat the crap out of our Conference Bottom Feeder... The squeaked by... Apparently pollsters only look "W's and L's" not the actually game play...

And should we have given Laffy more?

My point exactly Sivart! Lang dropped Appy down to #14 this week and I'm calling them out this week against Georgia Southern. Georgia Southern will take down the Mountaineers this weekend! If they do, Appy better be out of the Top 25!!!! Come on Eagles!!!

Another team that is highly overrated and going to get theirs this week is Colgate. They have "Quality" wins over Monmouth and Stony Brook! Holy Cross will post a double digit win this weekend and hopefully Laffy will take them out in a couple weeks as well. Colgate has a #45 Sagarin ranking and a #17 TSN rank. Please! I know Sagarin isn't the end all when it comes to figuring teams out, but I like the fact that it removes the human influence.

Colgate hasn't lost. It's really tough to knock a team for winning without a defeat.

App is vastly overrated. I have them in the middle of my poll and they will drop every week that they fail to convince me they're a top 25 team. A loss to GSO puts them out. A close win over GSO drops them.

I am ok with where Colgate is ranked...We need to take care of our own business and hope Laffy can do the same until they meet Colgate, who is hopefully undefeated at gametime, on 11/7. With them beating Colgate, that will give them a boost in the polls as well as help us in the polls.

I get a sense that people across the nation are beginning to notice us earlier and more often in the polls, primarily off the efforts of last years team.

Laughing at the irony -- WE are now one of JMU's "good wins" this season.

any time you beat us in our own house its a good win. Esp the way they manhandled us on the line, if anyone needs reminding.

I wonder if we didn't psych ourselves out though. Would the outcome have been different if we knew in advance how the next several games would go for them? Or us?

And as a CAA member, quality losses are better than wins. Everyone should know that by now.
