Looking forward to the game Saturday night. Going up Friday afternoon and gonna be there for the long weekend. Go Flames!!!!!

Man it feels like the real first game of the season! Maybe because we've played at home for the first game of the season for so long, or maybe that loss didn't really phase us. Or maybe it's the home crowd or something, but I have been waiting for this weekend since beat up on Elon last fall!!!

Go Flames! This is an opportunity for Liberty to make a statement coming out of the gate and build on a great performance against WVU.

I have not seen this posted anywhere else on the board. There was an announcement made this week (9/10), that NCCU is joining the MEAC conference. While this does not add any specific additional significance to this game, it seems to add a little support to scheduling strength. The MEAC is one of the 8 conferences that currently has an auto bid to the FCS playoffs.

NCCU joins MEAC

NCCU won't be in the MEAC until next year. That has no bearing on Liberty's 2009 schedule.
