Eye On Recrutiing: Karim Jones

Karim Jones is a big physical Wide Receiver. Go inside to hear what he has to say about the latest on his recruiting.

Karim Jones is big wide receiver that loves to get physical, and why shouldn’t he. I’ve seen Jones listed at 6’4” and 6’5” but the big wide out from Maryland said that, “I am 6’3” 210 right now.”

And here is where the Flames enter the picture ....

Karim did tell us that he received his first D-I offer from the University of New Mexico a couple of days ago. “I spoke with Coach J (J.B. Gerald) and New Mexico has given me my first official D-I offer,” said Jones. “I didn’t really even consider them at first, but I have some friends that I grew up with and played football with down there and they tell me a lot of great things about New Mexico. I also like the coaches.”

Along with New Mexico Jones is receiving interest from Connecticut, Rutgers, and Boston College, and also a handful of smaller division schools like Monmouth, Delaware, Liberty, and Towson St.
