RJ wrote:The Flames Sports Network is offering Television stations across the country programming from 21 selected broadcasts of flames sporting events that are going to satellite. This includes football, mens basketball, womens basketball, and volleyball. The resposnsibility of finding interested stations has kind of dropped into my lap. I have been cold calling a rather lengthy list and progress has been slow. (though we have picked up affilates in VA, OH, and Alaska) I have primarily been focusing on the eastern region, but am getting ready to branch out my calls to other areas. I am hoping that FlameFans members might be able to give me some leads to stations that might be interested in this free programing. (there are no fees of any kind for a station to take this programming) Stations usually open to these broadcasts include Christian/Religious stations who are searching for sports programming that would relate to their schedule, stations looking for programming for their 2nd digital channel, stations who have a regional interest in a LU opponent, stations in areas that are pockets of high LU graduate populations. If you have any leads at all please let me know. Running down a list with only cold calls is a very slow and time consuming proposition. I can use any help that anyone can give! Thanks!
You could try some stations in NC cause I know some of us would love to see the games on tv without using Sky Angel (it is HORRIBLE.)

I just meant that it would be nice for some NC stations to broadcast LU athletics since I live in NC.
