Opening game flyover

We should do one. It's one of the best things about being at a live sporting event, but I can't recall LU ever doing one other than the ceremony they had in that field of flags a couple years ago. I think it was a B-52. And it was pretty awesome. It was deafening. I don't know if you have to know someone or have some clout or pay them to get the military to do this, but I'd like to see it happen. Only maybe a couple of fighter jets this time. The only NASCAR race I've ever been to had 4 F-16s fly over and again, it was awesome. In conclusion, somebody get on this.

Get some of those aviation profs and their students to fly by. I'm still waiting for a blimp.

WHy not...we've got a number of air bases back in Tidewater. I think itd be awesome to have a plane fly over as the band was finishing the national anthem

I remember how quick and silent it was. I was in the Wal Mart parking lot and it was flying so low, I thought it was going to knock me over with the wake.

VMI was sick....that stealth bomber came out of no where. You could not hear it until it was right over you. It was one of the most impressive things I've EVER seen and that's the truth
To be honest I'd expect to have some parachute's land at the 50. Seems like I've heard something about some kids at LU wanting to start a parachute team or something like that.

the stealth bomber is absolutely amazing...and the technology in that plane is unreal...Air Force...I hear its a great branch of the military

We do have a LU alum that is a AF flight instructor in Pensacola. He has flown in and out of the L'burg airport more than once on practice runs.
