In the next E-Newsletter edition we would like to give you the opportunity to put questions to Head Coach Danny Rocco. Respond to this thread with a question you would like to pose to Coach Rocco. Assuming we get enough appropriate questions, the answers will feature as part of the next issue of the E-Newsletter. Liberty Football reserve the right to choose which questions, if any, are answered.

#1 question: Who is going to be our starting quarterback?

There is no way we will get an answer to that one til well into training camp. I feel quite sure coach doesn't know yet himself.

"We've got three very talented players in Michael Brown, Spencer Landis, and University of South Carolina transfer Tommy Beecher. We're going to evaluate them during our pre-season training camp and myself and my staff will make a decision on the who will start at West Virginia University after that. Rumor has it you were on some teams' short-list for vacant head coaching positions after the end of last season. How aggressively were you courted? And if the opportunity arose to head up a bigger program, would you take it?

Coach: what are the chances of you bringing in a 39 year old former HS soccer player to kick FG's for you? Rumor is he has his Sambas already laced up.

What would you consider to be the most challenging aspect of schedule this fall?

Coach Rocco, could the afore-mentioned "39 year old former HS soccer player" see over your offensive line?

I love the way you think.

Being a student at both UVA and Liberty I hope that we will one day be mentioned in the same breath as the top DI BCS programs. By the way I have season tickets to UVA games with my sister and will be skipping out on a few games to support the Flames especially on Sept 5th at WVU!! I hope that we can compete for an FCS national title soon. What do you think it will take to get us there? Good luck and GO FLAMES!!
