The wide receiver group is up for grabs and their is one receiver that is overlooked coming out of LCA.
Patrick Kelly, he didn't play in the spring due to injury but he showed amazing skill in the spring practices that I attended.
If you know anything about him throw it up, but I believe that this Kid is going to be making a difference next year.
He will definitely be in the top four of our w/r at the end of fall camp.

First off, welcome to the board. New blood around this place is always a good thing even if they get started with a heavy diet of emoticons.

As for Patrick, our board knows all about him and we are jazzed. We discussed him plenty during his hamstringed spring and even more during his recruitment.

Patrick pulled his hamstring didnt he? But dont we have enough depth at WR to redshirt him? I think that would be the best thing for the program and for patrick.

He didn't have a complete tear. He's already recovered. I think it would be better if they didn't redshirt him because we don't have anyone with the job yet and he could def make a difference. He's going to be in the top 4 of recievers.

He's gonna have to beat out Eden, Summers, Garner, Hayes, and Freddie Brown. Not to mention the possibly of Mike Brown (which I doubt), Kyle DeArmon making a push, and who knows what else. Pat is good, I know. I've seen him play and saw the plays he made in spring ball. It's still not a given that he'll be in the top four. Remember, he's a freshman. Not many freshmen come in and are impact guys right away, especially at Liberty under Coach Rocco.

what did garner, summers, DeArmon do in spring ball? what did kelly? he stole the show during practice. Is Freddie Brown any good we don't know well find out.
but i'm just saying hes got a chance to make it.

You're starting to sound an awful lot like you're pretty close to Pat.

Chris Summers and BJ Hayes "stole the show during practice" many more times than Pat did. That's to be expected out of veterans. Jimmy Eden is still one of the top two receivers we have right now in my opinion. Those three are givens. If Mike Brown plays WR, that's your top receiver right there.

Pat's going to be good, but let's stop throwing daddy hype to him as a freshman.

I'm going to shut this thread down and take all of the PK talk to the other thread...having two threads open basically talking about the same stuff is pointless and confusing
