Just so you all know, if Rashad goes at all today, it'll probably be very late, like after 11 p.m. late.

I'll be tuned in at 4:00, but I always am anyway. It's looking like Rashad will go in the 3rd round at best.

Holy crap did the Jets overpay for Sanchez........Mangini gets 3 players and a 1st and 2nd rounder. Man...genius!

From 17 to 5 is a long way to move up. Who were the 3 players?

If he's the QB he's supposed to be, there's no 'overpaying' for him... just like when the Giants got Eli, they 'overpaid' for him (because they could have kept Philip Rivers, who's a quality NFL hurler), but hey, Eli won a Super Bowl, so good for NY.

As for Sanchez though, he certainly wasn't as highly-touted as Carson Palmer or Matt Leinart... but then again, neither was Matt Cassel, and he's a starting NFL QB.

Al Davis is totally senile. I was going to say he's an idiot, but I'm deferring to his age.

He just made a classic 'I know I could trade down and still get the guy I want, but I don't want to' deal.

Al Davis is the reason the raiders are getting killed every year.

:exactly In other words, a deal (or rather no deal) noone in the NFL but Al Davis would make.

Moreno went to Denver so that could well improve RJ's chances of getting picked today

I'm glad I clicked this thread. I saw NFL Network and immediately thought, "Why the heck am I watching ESPN?"

No BJ it didn't. RJ didn't jump into the second round because of Moreno.

I was wondering who would say it first. I read that and said things that will not be posted on here.

The first thing I thought was, "He's getting 1000 yards under Shanahan." Then I remembered he wasn't there.
