No one in particular. Just refuse to expect perfection out of this team, when last year's team wasn't perfect.
If I had to guess, I would say Coastal or G-W would be that one loss.

Coastal is at home for homecoming. Don't see that happening.
G-W is at the end of the season during their patented November collapse. Don't see that happening.
Stony Brook scares me.

I have us losing to Stony Brook

11-0 (6-0)
Like that will happen, but.................................(Hey, we need to be optimistic

9-2 (6-0) in conference. I honestly do not see us losing to anyone other than WV and probably JMU, which I think we might actually win cause it's at home.

Seriously? I agree with LUnpretty11. I hope we beat WV. Hey, I might be able to make it to that game, so with me you have a great chance at winning

I have to say 9-2 (I have Liberty losing to WVU & JMU), but that all depends if Coach Rocco finds some playmakers (not role players) in the defensive back field to create turnovers, If they find some studs to recreate 75 to 80% of what Zach and Rashad did, and how the offensive line handles Coach Streeter system. Also I think we get a playoff bid, but how far LU goes is a ??????.

I don't think 9-2 gets us in the playoffs

Troy, is that you?
And if you are wondering about the defensive backfield, all you have to do is go watch an hour of any practice this spring and see the playmakers back there.

11-0.
We beat WVU in overtime because the smoke from burning couches blinds their offense so they can't score. We kick a winning field goal when the skies suddenly clear.
We beat JMU on a last minute kickoff return for a touchdown because their special teams suddenly think they're playing Richmond.
And we still don't get into the playoffs because nobody on the selection committee has ever heard of us (thanks to KK, who tells them that Coastal is the only team in the Big South that plays football).

man, these are some lofty expectations (the serious ones). I'm not familiar enough with the players that will be stepping up into starting roles to make an accurate guess, but with all of the key starters we've lost I think we'll see more WTF losses like presby.

Sorry, I'm not Troy... But nice to meet you.
That's great to find out, but the question is do you see any game breakers out there. I'm talking about someone who shuts down one half of the field and is a steady problem for offensive players. I think we need one of those guys rather it be at the SS position or CB position. Because 4 ints a year by one player is great, but LU need someone who can produce more than that.

You know we're in zone coverage 90% of the time, right?

And 4 picks would be a pretty good 11 game season. Not great, but pretty good. Especially in a zone.

Id say 9-2 (5-0) with losses to JMU and WVU. If JMU and WVU have really good years we could make the show. I think we could finish 10-1 with the only loss coming to WVU (About the only way we beat them is if we basically play the greatest most perfect game in LU history and WVU doesnt show up) but the most realistic max point I can think of for us is 9-2

Yes, I'm informed that we run a zone most of the time.
I guess I'm over thinking or looking at the situation a little to hard.
But I see alot of 3-4 systems on the NFL level and College level that have game breakers in a 3-4 zone defense.
Someone like how Rashad Johnson was for Alabama last season, A playmaker.
But I have faith that Coach Rocco and Coach Clark will field the best guys when LU takes on WVU.

That's how I was looking at the situation as a good but not great situation. But none the less I just hope LU makes it to the playoffs.
