NFL Combine (Jennings related)

So the combine is this week, Feb 18-24. They televise portions of it on NFLN and it looks like it will be available on the web at NFL.com as well
http://www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/networksc ... lectedDate
According to that, the RB group will be on TV on the 22nd, which is this sunday. I imagine there will be a lot of other combine related things on Total Access on the days leading up to the televised days since they send the crew to broadcast from Indianapolis. Rashad could make or lose a lot of potential money on Sunday. Everybody loves his size so I think his 40 time is going to be his make or break event.

SI - giving Jennings some love:

Rashad Jennings/Liberty: Jennings proved he could play with the best in the nation at last month's Senior Bowl. He's a good size at 234 pounds and runs with both speed and power. Jennings is also effective as a blocker and pass catcher out of the backfield. He has all the makings of an NFL feature runner.

Can Rashad go low 4.5 on the 40?
http://www.stampedeblue.com/2009/2/18/7 ... bine-start
Rashad Jennings: A lesser-known running back with great size, if Jennings runs in the low 4.5 range, he could cement himself as as second round pick

On "Analysis" tab:
Only gets in the way as a blocker, giving marginal effort.
I disagree with that statement. That made me bristle.

Wow that stinks, and I've seen others say he is great there.

That sounds familiar.

The NFL's only analyst is Mike Mayock I think. If you recall during the Senior Bowl, he went out of his way to NOT talk about Rashad. Most likely because he doesn't know anything about him.

Jennings, who is one of 33 running backs at this year’s NFL Combine, is set to take to the turf inside Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday morning. During the workout session, Jennings will undergo such drills as the 40-yard dash, bench press, a vertical and broad jump test, three-cone drill, shuttle run and more

The bench press for running backs was held today. Rashad did 29 reps. A fullback from Syracuse was the only one better with 30. Wells and Moreno did 25.

Finally, the last WO is running right now. RBs are up next.

Or maybe they're doing vertical jump right now. They only show the famous guys go.

I think they're gonna show the RBs on the later show or something.
Anyway, from the scrolling stats Rashad is the #8 broadjumper at 10' even and he didn't make the top 10 vertical leaps so it didn't tell me his leap. But it was under 36"

I just saw that Rashad was also a top performer in the Broad Jump (10'0)...

I think he's number 12. I thought I saw him on a quick pan out.
