I think we also qualify for a wildcard spot...

yeah, we'd take the eagles spot. And we'd beat Minnesota and then take down the G-men and lose to the panthers in the NFC championship game...

What does it say that those three teams -- and Mississippi State -- all fired their coaches in November?

Impressive. Though since the Duke game was by FAR the worst game of the season, and we played completely different in every single other game (even Montana), I'd be more impressed if it was a team NOT named Duke. Then again, it would have to be Montana...which probably be difficult.

Our worst year under Hanky one of these had us beating the national champion despite us being dead last in RPI.

In 2003...
Liberty beat
Hofstra who beat
Northeastern who beat
Delaware who beat
Navy who beat
Air Force who beat
Wyoming who beat
Colorado St who beat
California who beat
Southern Cal
So we were really the national champs in 2003, even though we were only 6-6.
