With the frustrating end to the season now behind us, it is time to look forward to the spring where a bunch of familiar faces will be gone.
Departing Seniors
All but a few were starters and it will leave a bunch of holes to be filled. At the same time, we are adding a few transfers to help soften the blow:
I'm not even going to discuss special teams since we appear in better shape there in the spring than anytime I can remember.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the above and where the best position battles will be on the field.

All but a few were starters and it will leave a bunch of holes to be filled. At the same time, we are adding a few transfers to help soften the blow:
- RB Alex Green - Butte CC (Signed Letter)
WR Matt Hilton - Butte CC (Signed Letter)
WR Ervin Garner - VT
LB Hunter Ovens - VT
- QB: Landis, Brown or Brennan? Spencer is the clear frontrunner but how do all three factor into the future.
RB: Alex Green looks to be a Rashad-type back but we also have have some guys like Lawrence & Hayes.
OL: Vargas, Stadler, Weaver & Mosier will be looking for some help from young guys.
TE: Shaver, Quarles and even Jones showed sparks in 2008.
WR: Hilton & Garner will have the opportunity to step in alongside guys like Broggin, Summers & Eden.
DL: Trey Jacobs is back and he'll have Robertson & Chapman becoming more involved.
LB: Chad Brown is rock solid and Cheeks, Giddens, Bannon and Bolt showed they are ready.
DB: Chris Rocco will lead this unit with Torrence, Clairborne and Robinson being asked to step up bigtime.
I'm not even going to discuss special teams since we appear in better shape there in the spring than anytime I can remember.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the above and where the best position battles will be on the field.
