That's Pat Kelly. I saw LCA's highlights the other day. PK plays exactly like J5.

well this kid looks like he's worth a scholly. He might be a little too cocky for my own liking, but he is a good blocking receiver and can definitely catch. Might be a good pick up for us.
And after looking at the whole video, he is not nearly as good after the catch as J5 was. J5 would have beat half of the tackles he went down on. Still the guy can catch.

Apparently, he just gave us a verbal commitment today. Seems like a really nice pick up.

This addition, along with Patrick Kelly, and Garner transferring in from VT, may just give us the depth and talent at WR to allow Mike Brown to become a full time QB.

Why not? Rocco has already said Mike will play QB this Spring, and it will be an open competition. We all know he can play WR, but even if Landis wins the starting QB job, if we have enough talent at WR, Mike can be a great backup and come in for a few series each game to give opponents a change of pace and something else they need to prepare for on defense. Then he would be much more prepared for a possible starters role as a Junior and Senior than if he played WR next year.

I don't feel like reading 18 pages on this subject again. Nothing personal

Butte College's Justin Hilton (15) catches a pass for a touchdown in the first half past Mt. SAC's Dominique Gaisie (3) during the CCCAA state championship game Saturday in Costa Mesa. (Keith Birmingham/San Gabriel Valley Tribune via MNG)

I assume two but I am just guessing.

The Butte team roster lists him as a sophomore so two is a good guess.

We could have a formation with just big receivers if we wanted with this guy, Summers, Crawford and PK. then compliment that with speed guys like Hewlett and Eden this could be a real high octane passing game

Crawford was a senior...

I think he was referring to Steven Crawford, the Freshman WR who was redshirted this year. Not sure where he fits in to future plans, but he does have some size.

Score one to olldflame. J-5 is a senior but I was referring to our freshman WR. I think that he and Eden will factor pretty heavily in the return game but I think that having a lot of height can allow for some interesting combinations in spring ball.

I doubt if Crawford will be returning many kicks. With Ervin Garner transferring in, I think he, Jimmy Eden and BJ Hayes will be handling those duties.
