If we go 10-2 again with those 2 losses to WVU & JMU, due we still get denied a spot in the playoffs?

My guess is yes. 2010 can't get here soon enough.

No - that happens - we get in, but I think next year we have more than 2 loses. We will have a very young team.

Can anyone confirm if we have 11 or 12 games scheduled for next year?

11...I believe the 12 game schedule for FCS schools is every 4 years...but I know for sure its 11 games next year

So losses to WVU & JMU would only make us 9-2.

yeah...its sad we have to play nearly perfect to get into the playoffs...
thank God there is only one season left until the big south gets their auto bid

That would mean 9 I-AA wins, though. Beats the 8 from this year with ZERO bad losses...and I don't think there is any way they keep a 9 win, 3 time conference champion out with that resume.

No team has ever gotten in as an at-large in their first "good" year.
I think next year, if we go 9-2, there's no way they keep us out.

Super, besides WVU & JMU, what would be our most challenging game to win next year?

that is what I would expect...but honestly I have no idea...
to tell you the truth, I did not honestly expect us to make it in over William and Mary this year...but the fact that UMaine made it shows that you never can tell what will happen in the selection process
but we're going to beat both WVU and JMU next year...so we have NOTHING to worry about!

at Lafayette
Depending on who our last game is, that could change.
I'd rank them:
1) at WVU
2) vs JMU
3) at Lafayette
4) at Stony Brook
5) vs Coastal
6) at G-W
7) at CSU
8) vs VMI
9) vs PC
10) vs NC Central

1. White WVU QB is gone next year
2. JMU is at home
3. Both teams are losing good seniors
4. Although were losing ours.....we have some really quality guys and awesome guys coming in....
