Yikes ... I'll start with five:
- QB - Brock Smith
TE - Eric Green
WR - Kelvin Edwards
CB - Wayne Haddix
PK - Mark DeMoss
It is somebody else's turn to decide the rest. I wouldn't touch RB with a 10-foot pole because there are so many options that could be argued. I realize the old school guys aren't going to get much love so I threw a few in there. Banks, Carswell and Mathis have to be considered as well.

QB-Robbie Justino (Brock was a great one but dude, this guy's numbers were sick nasty)
RB- Stacy Nobles
FB- Rashad Jennings
WR- Kelvin Edwards
WR- Pat Nelson
TE- Eric Green (Come on man this is a no doubter)
OL- Mike Godsil
OL- Stephen Sene
(Cant think of any others)
DL- Steve Ackley
DL- Jason Horn
(Cant think of anymore DL)
LB- Manny Rojas
LB- Vince Redd
LB- Stevie Ray Lloyd
LB- Eric Carroll
DB- Erick Harris
DB- Roc Haith
DB- Pat Calvary
DB- CJ Moore
P- Noah Crouch
K- Noah Greenbaum
KR- Wynton Jackson and Dominic Bolden (tie)

I saw Justino play and he was the best QB we've had. Great pocket presence and a connon for an arm!

If Rashad wanted to be a FB on an all-time team, he'd have stayed at Pitt.

QB- Gus Condon (kidding, it'd have to be Robbie Justino. he had twice as many career TD's as anyone else, followed by Ben Anderson)
RB- Dre Barnes (he should be in the pros)
FB- Rashad Jennings
WR- James McKnight
WR- Kelvin Edwards
TE- Eric Green, no question about it

QB- Robby Justino
RB- Rashad
WR- Kelvin Edwards
WR- Courtney Freeman
TE- Eric Green
OL- Stephen Sene
OL- Eddie Pinigis
OL- Mike Godsil
As for defense, Vince Redd and Aaron Deberry would have to be on there as well as probably Manny Rojas and Nick Hursky.
Dominic would be the top returner.

You guys are way off on LU's all-time list if you don't include:
Jon Starks - QB. Coach Sam's boy and a top 3 QB in '96 draft according to Mel Kiper
Robbie Tobeck - Center for Seahawks Super Bowl team
Dave Scott - Tackle All American and 7 year pro for the Falcons
Jason Elam - Kicker for Broncos

He did the Liberty Bible Institute, it doesn't really count as him being a Liberty Flame. By the same token, we should have Shawn Michaels as our greatest wrestler...

Elam never played for LU, which would eliminate him from this list, IMO.

The title is "LU All Time" with no disclaimers. All players listed went to Liberty. None played for the Flames.
Yea, I'm bored today.

I don't have time to do this now - but James McKnight has to be one of the WRs.

I really feel that if a guy named JT Morris hadn't ripped his hip out of socket vs. Villanova -on the last run of the 1st half of his first game, then he would be considered in the conversation as a running back.
Anyone that saw JT play before his injury would agree.

I saw JT play at Penn State before transferring to LU and his hometown of Lynchburg. He had over 100 yards and two TDs in his first game for the Nittany Lions.

There should be a couple from that '98 team...LBer Jesse "The boogie man" Riley....Rolo....Ben Anderson...Big Trey Sartin...Wr Courtny Freeman one of the quickest players Lu has ever had at wr..he had something like 30 catches for 600 yds

Defensive lineman Rodney Degrate was fun to watch back in Coach Sam's day. I was also remember Rod Gladfelter was a great DB and FG kcker....yes, I'm that ancient! Gladfelter is still listed as a leader in interseptions and extra points.

Courtney's senior year was explosive. I know for much of the season he led the nation in yards per catch........... more like 30 than 20. I think he cought a few shorter ones in the last couple of games to bring the average down a bit. He really hadn't done much prior to his senior year.

I may be wrong, but wasn't Freeman a highly recruited QB out of the Hampton area and LU converted him into a receiver? I could be wrong......

Courtney Freeman was from Marietta, GA

Thanks for the correction, Troy! My brain cells tend to freeze up with the weather and age!
