A Sea Of Red

Just received word that there's a little "movement" going down at Elon. They're not happy with the seats that we give them so their fans are planning to buy general admission tickets and try and get there early and sit behind their bench. There's absolutely nothing we can do to stop this because technically the student section is general admission seating. The only thing we can do is get there early to save our sections. I know we won't have very many students there but those of us who are there need to get there early to guarantee we get our seats.

The only movement Elon will have is in their britches when the Flames torch them!

What is wrong with the section they get?

There will most likely be plenty of open seats in the stadium for them.

This is actually semi-serious though. Serious enough for me to get a phone call after 5pm about it. Serious enough for them to send an e-mail out about it. Serious enough for them to talk about it in convo tomorrow.


Students: To get our seats, we need to get there early and expect the Elon fans/students to try and sit around us and/or take our seats.

I'm not sure they will like intermingling with the LUnatics any better than they would like their slanted section!

Then perhaps it is time for LU to set aside that entire SIDE behind the bench for LU STUDENTS ONLY. That seems to be an easy fix.

Well, that's if I have time to put the signs on the seats. The past two weeks I haven't been able to.

I hope Elon fans know who Jerry Jr. is!

are they planning on some hostile take over or something? because honestly I don't see this being a huge problem...every week I see fans from whoever we are playing in the student section. Hasn't seemed to cause any problems that I have seen...

I have some friends at Elon and they are talking mad crap to me. They ARE planning on being hostile.

are they bringing up a large group? I mean Elon isn't exactly drawing huge crowds in their home stadium...but either way, i guess it would be kind of entertaining to watch...haha

is this a 1pm game?
