SOME Liberty Fans

OK, I'm going to get slaughtered for this, but I can't stand it any longer. I can't stand some of the junk I'm reading on here. Could we get beat on Saturday? YES. But could we win? YES! If you read this board right now, a lot of you guys have bailed on this team and did so after Presby.
So, Here are a few observations sure to make you mad:
-SOME LU Fans are the ones who set the unreasonable expectations for their teams
-SOME LU Fans are the last ones to a game and the first to leave
-SOME LU Fans want things to go 100% perfectly, and when they don't they bail
-SOME LU Fans don't show up after a BAD loss because they call the season over
-SOME LU Fans are spoiled as if we were USC fans expecting a national championship every year
-SOME LU Fans need to understand that this team has done things we have never seen happen before and may never see again
-SOME LU Fans are giving ELON all the bullitin board material they need
-SOME LU Fans need to get behind their team and push them toward a win that CAN HAPPEN
Look, I've been critical of this team too, but I've never given up on them.
These players will give this game Saturday ALL they have, will you???
FIRE AWAY!

It looks like Papa Gallo woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. But I agree that this is no time to be letting up in intensity surrounding our football team. If the committee passes on us this Sunday then it is time to get in a 100% hoops frame of mind. But until that happens, we have arguably the biggest game in the Rocco Era this Saturday on campus. Let's keep the buzz around campus and make sure this is such an attractive event that people will want to stick around until Saturday evening to head home.

There is no arguably about it. This is THE biggest game in the Rocco Era, and maybe the biggest in school history.

I'm referring to anyone who basically said we didn't have much of a shot to win!
Look, it will be an uphill climb no doubt, but this team CAN win Saturday!

WHO?
Look, I'm fine! I'm not mad at anyone. I just think that if the fans check out on the team, it's wrong. You are either a LU fan (Fanatic0 or you are not.

My viewpoint doesnt keep me from going to the game, or rooting for our team. My perspective doesnt take away from my love of our teams, but it does leave me with different expectations for what can happen and what will happen.
But youre right, we can win Saturday.

For those who doubt our ability to win...remember, Presby wasn't suppose to be able win either.
Flames are in a win/win situation anyway. If we win....WOW.
If we do not win, it is still clear that LU football has turned the corner and great things are ahead.
I'm betting on the fact that we have more to gain with a win and our guys will be really motivated. For the Flames, it is about playoffs and respect. We need to show the critics that we are for real. We'll find out Saturday.
The question that must be asked....."Are the LU fans motivated? Will we show up in record numbers? Will we be the factor that Elon has to deal with while on offense?"

YES!
We can!
Some "fans" are simply real knuckleheads, instead.
GO FLAMES!

Thought going into that question: They just got back from Boone.

Normally I'd say we have a small advantage because our students are right behind Elon's bench whereas in Boone they're behind App's bench, but our students won't be here.
