The LUnatics are going to love this ...

Seating has not been at a premium yet this season at Fisher Field. It will be on Nov. 22, but it also should be on Saturday. Nothing would please Tavani more than to see a Lafayette reception like the Liberty University students gave the Leopards last month.

Thousands of Liberty fans filled the grandstand behind the Lafayette bench. They hollered so loud that Tavani could not hear himself think. And they were clever about it. They knew names of players and they called out the names. No crude comments from those Christian kids, but some pretty funny comments.

"Hopefully, we can get a little bit of a hostile crowd out," Tavani said. "This is as good a football game as you can go to anywhere this Saturday. It's championship football.

"Lafayette is not like going to Liberty and hearing 8,000 in their student body screaming at you. But I think Lafayette kids can get pumped up for certain things." Tavani, some players and cheerleaders will sit in the dinal hall at Farignon today and Thursday in an attempt to generate some interest. Maybe basketball's Zoo Crew and football Frank's Tanks can get together and form their own loittle section. Better yet, let the kids sit on the visitors' side and give it to the Crusaders.

Good to hear that my screams did not go un-noticed by their coach. I wish it translated to a win. THat is one of those games we should have one. Oh well...finish strong.

Crowds are just as good in the FCS as they are in the FBS. Just try coming to a JMU home football game and sitting in the student section right behind the visiting team ;) you'll definitely hear some things you won't hear at LU.

I remember being on the sideline in Karcher's first year when we played up there. It was definitely a rabid crowd. Hopefully, we will get to experience the thrill of playing up there once again in a couple of weeks.
