we can speculate all we want. but this would just turn nasty. with the way our team was playing, even had we kicked a field goal and gone to overtime, we still would have lost.

From 47 yards??? No way. We couldn't make a field goal from 35 or whatever it was earlier.

make the field goal? I mean wed have to snap it right first. Then catch the snap. Then put the ball down, laces out. Then our kicker would have to run to the ball without falling. Then he would have to kick the ball high enough to clear our oline, and finally make it through the uprights.

I wonder if the fake field goal was ever a thought

Maybe it just seems too perfect, but Chris Rocco(memory tells me hes the holder from last season) should be able to throw the ball. Send the fastest player from the unit down field.

That would have been a perfect opportunity for a fake field goal...oh well.

Again - we dont know whats going on out there. I dont necessarily trust the decisions we make in game breaking situations, but throwing to Crawford in the endzone doesnt seem to be a bad idea either.

47 yd field goal???????? Maybe next year. I actually thought they would go for a first down close to the sideline. Maybe they could've gotten a 1st with a fake. At least we might have had a try or two at a pass for the end zone.
