With the victory, the Flames have now won nine-straight Big South games to break Coastal Carolina’s record of eight-consecutive league victories.

aLUmnus commented to me at the football game that kids still wear their BEAT COASTAL shirts every week. I wonder if they'll be so irrelevant in a couple of years that future students will see it like we would view a shirt that says "Beat CSU". I hope that CDB can get things back on track so the conference can continue to be a little more respected.

Just did a little quick research and Liberty is the first team in conference history to post consecutive shutouts in conference games.

Got it. I wasn't thinking that we only have played 3 conference games so far. 4th would be GW last season.

To get attention for the playoffs, we need to keep them coming.
