It seems most of our posters were at Williams Stadium.

But bring your thought here.

Defense looked good.

Offense looked good.

Special teams looked... ok?

Regardless, we dominated them, like we should have, and build up some momentum for our two game roadie.

Attendance = 14,600

Actually much better weather than last week's game. I saw SCAR, and he's in such good shape, I think it could still dunk against ETSU.

Impressive outing by the Flames...guess my prediction was a bit off.

We needed a big morale booster like this.

Great showing. Looked like a different team out there today.

And Sparky came by to see my kids -- twice. Made my son's day -- he kept saying "Where'd Sparky go?"

I absolutely love our red jerseys.

Yeah, they look way better this year. Unless they're the same as last years. Then they look the same. But is that what the dude who yells stuff before the game was talking about? He said "get ready to see something you've never seen". I got excited but never figured out what he was talking about. So where was everybody at today?

They just need some red pants to go with it.

They're the same as last year's.

Did anyone hear who won the parade? I highly doubt we did, but I'd like to know who did.

SJ, y'all's float. :clapping

Good day all around at the stadium. It was good to see SCAR and BJ. Nice ceremonies at halftime.

Honest opinions: how were the videos for Eric Green and Coach Rutigliano? I wasn't really sure the best way to do them since a) I couldn't get video and b) the pictures weren't high quality. We didn't have any digital pictures of them so I had to scan old pictures to use.

The videos were outstanding, SJ, and while I loved the LUnatics float I'd have to give my vote to whoever did the boxing ring. That was awesome.

Of course, I did't get a hot dog, so that may have swayed my vote a little bit ... ;)

BTW -- is it just me, or is the site defaulting to the 'mobile' page for everyone? I'm at my in-laws house here in th 'Burg, and they've got Comcast high-speed internet, so it may just be here ...

We weren't expecting to win. We had the Smith/Jennings 08 idea that I know would've won. However, as of Monday, we didn't have a trailer. For us to do that one, we were going to have to start working on it even before the Lafayette game. Monday afternoon I got an e-mail from student activities asking us to do a float and saying they had a trailer we could use. It was too late to do the Smith/Jennings 08 idea, plus we had the rain coming, so we decided to do something cheap. We went the easy route and just had fun with it. The only thing we had planned was we were grilling hot dogs. The way we did everything else was made up on the spot.

I was at the game with my 5 yr. old daughter- she colored, i watched. Thought the off. looked really good and def. looked really good (with a bit of help from the Buc's O!). It was great to see the team fired up after last week- especially the early blocked punt. Needless to say, seeing old friends wasn't happening. First home game this year for me and as I sat at the top of the new stands on the Baptist side, I was thinking that the stadium and the atmosphere is 10... no... 20 times better than I remember in the past.
I was hoping to meet some of you guys; saw Scar, but he wouldn't know me from Adam. I'll just wait for the next tailgate!

I sat on the baptist side today with my parents and brother who were in town. I never really realized quite how dead it is over there. I kept standing up and the people behind me asked me to sit a few times. I kept trying to get people around me to stand up but no one did. My family did quite a bit, but it was just awkward with us being the only ones standing. They should move some of the students there and some baptists to the student side so the students can make the old fogies stand up for a bit.

Also never realized how sweet the thunder sticks look on the student side.

also.

I loved how the refs "read flamefans" this week and decided to call us out on our third down music. But mostly, I loved how when they said we couldnt play music at all when CSU had the ball, instantly it seemed to wake everyone up and the fans got louder than ever.

I also loved the effort by the defense to keep it a shutout. When CSU was within our 3 yard line and they held them and forced the fumble, I was going nuts. Unbelievable.

Sucks Elon lost, what will that do to our playoff hopes? How many other top 19 teams lost?

a lot of top 19 teams lost: 9 villanova, 11 mcneese st, 15 northern arizona, 18 furman, 19 tennessee st, 20 jacksonville st.

We are 21st in the Sportsline polls.

I had a church commitment, so I missed the parade: was it raining hard or at all during the parade?

Great response to last weeks loss. Rocco said that the most important moment is after a team taste defeat. Were we really that much better or was this "venting" on the players part. We seemed to play with more intensity than we have all year.

It was good to see the old O-line at full strength. Stone must be fully recovered, no rotation. The offense line seemed to be back to their earlier "jelled" status. I feel much better about the future. No injuries.

Defense looked really good. At times it seemed like we had 13 men on the field. They were everywhere. The goal line stance was really exciting. We never let them get any momentum. This was an impressive work of art.

Attendance was O.K. I watched from the i-net and expected to see the student section full once the rain stopped. I was surprised, homecoming didn't set a new record attendance without rain. This is the best football team Liberty has seen in a lot of years. Student body disappoints. Out of towners have to make decisions that cannot be overcome when the rain stops but the student body can show up, but didn't.
