Whoever negotiated the MASN TV deal for us deserves a promotion and a pay raise, by the way.

Same goes for the FamilyNet deal that is much bigger than MASN.

FTN absolutely needs some upgrades. Someone mentioned this last week but I feel like someone stretched the resolution wayyyy to far.

Other than the picture quality...they do a very good job with the production.

am i mistaken....isn't/wasn't the MASN deal a big south deal and not a 'liberty specific' deal?

You're mistaken. The Big South has a one game a week deal or something like that. We went over and beyond that and negotiated our own deal with them.

What the heck were you doing over this way? Trying to avoid race traffic?

It is very easy to tell which games are Big South negotiated games and which ones are ours. At least in ours we are upfront about our home announcing crew with FTN logos. The Big South uses a CCU employee who is a shameless homer under the title of "Voice of the Big South".

Here is a liink to the rest of the season schedule for MASN with the Big South game of the week.

It will be intresting to see if the other games have Matt "CCU Homer" Hogue calling them or the crew last year of Orioles PBP man Jim Hunter and Former Raven Wally Williams with the call.

I see this weeks game is on MASN. I think they're using our talent and produciton guys.

Anytime they use one of our home games they are using a FTN production.

I wouldn't call them 'talent', but yes, they are using our guys.

The MASN/Family Net deal is amazing.
I just think it sucks that we can't see any away games here because our Comcast doesn't carry those two channels.

blwall, get a dish for crying out loud! It's cheaper than cable and get you get to watch the Flames (& the Orioles) on MASN. Many have said that Comcast is "of the devil", and I almost agree.

I would, but a huge tree, belonging to a house 4 down from me, blocks any signal I could get with DirecTV or Dish.
