Chris Lang just posted his Weekly Watch. I have been interested by the Playoff Eligibility that he has referenced the past two weeks on AGS. FargoBison, a poster on AGS has shown each of the FCS teams with their playoff eligibility based on the required wins. An exception is teams that have been eliminated by win requirements which still could make the playoffs by winning their conferences. As of today, there are 77 remaining teams in the hunt for an at-large bid. 24 of those teams must win all of their remaining games. It will be interesting to see how many other teams will still be in consideration when the time arrives for the committee to choose the at large bids.

Does anyone have a prediction of the number of teams they think will be eligible for an at large bid?

How many of those 24 teams are playing each other? If so, that number will dwindle.

I'd imagine that, of those 77 teams, there will be approximately 20-25 left waiting for an at-large bid when selection time comes around.
