More Liberty kids being dumb

Ok, so we all know that Liberty University's school colors are red, blue, and white. We also know that at the football games the fans only wear red and white.
Which is fine....
But Liberty's home uniform this year is mostly blue.
AND
Stony Brook's school colors are red and white.
SO.... I say that for the home game on Oct. 11th 2008 we put some blue into the stands. If we wear only red and white we will actually look like we are supporting Stony Brook...
...and that would be terrible.
So support LU football and come to the game in BLUE!!

hopefully they are doing it just to annoy you and spark another worthless 9 page discussion about the moral spiritual and intellectual qualities of wearing red

The whole point of this group is to have fun and support our team by wearing the same colors as them.

whats wrong with blue if the other teams colors are predominately red and white? people on this board wanted the fans to be wearing red and all be wearing red.....well if the students are ALL wearing blue to support LU who will be wearing blue uniforms then let it go.....as long as the students are there and they are wearing the same color

I really fail to understand how people who have worked for or currently work for athletics can continue to promote or condone ideas that go blatantly against the Athletic Department's wishes.
And we never wear a different color for VMI or Radford basketball games dude, get a clue. We are the home team, we wear red for home games. That's just how it goes.

If you wanna wear blue, there is this school down in Clinton, South Carolina that I know of that wears blue, you should go there and wear all the blue you want.

Guys lets be rational....if someone wants to wear blue then "change schools?" is that being a little dramatic over the color of one's clothes?

I do not want this to turn into the last thread so I will keep my opinions to myself

I've tried to stay out of this, but I think that comment right there is ridiculous!
I wear red, I love the sea of red, but if someone wears BLUE - they are not going to H___ for it. It is OK!

List of people who have said, during convo and other official events, that we wear RED and ONLY RED to sporting events:
Jerry Falwell, Jr. - Chancellor
Johnnie Moore - Campus Pastor
Dwayne Carson - Campus Pastor
Danny Rocco - Head Football Coach
Rashad Jenings - Football Player
Jeff Barber - Athletic Director
Ritchie McKay - Basketball Coach
Do you really need more reason? You wear red, we are the sea of red in the stands, we give out free red t-shirts. Red is the color we wear to home games, so you don't start facebook groups to try to get a hundred or so kids wearing a different color. It's disrespectful to the AD's.

I never said anyone was going to hell for wearing blue.
I mean, Presby is pretty bad, but I wouldn't call it hell.

cmon TTL...that is a bit drastic dont you think?? look of course we want everyone to wear red, but the if the students come out wearing blue or whatever color...who cares??!!! if they are loud and supportive they will eventually get the clue and wear red.

I hear you, but name one person on that list that will honestly say the following:
"If you dont want to wear red stay home"
"If you dont want to wear red then change schools"
It's really something you suggest rather than demand...it's not something to lose your cool over (not saying you have but others in the past really have) and just roll your eyes at when you see them
