What’s the deal? Not one post in the football forum all day. Is this just the calm before the storm?

When it comes to rain be careful what you wish for, as it can be a equalizer for the game.

If it rains on sat. it will be the 3rd time in three years that the opening game has been in the rain. Thats all 3 years coach Rocco has been here. I guess we can take that as a good sign?

My favorite game was the opener in 2006 against St. Paul and it was flat out dumping rain. It's fun for those guys on the field, too. I absolutely loved when it would rain on a Friday night in High School. I would play my best games.

It didn't rain last year. It was hot as crap last year for the opener.

It was sunny and hot. There's video to prove it.

And I think you mean St. Paul's a year earlier since they're definitely not on the schedule this year.
