doubt that would happen today. he hasnt even been practicing with the offense-- he's on the scout team.

Riddle seems to be the real deal. Then again, that's what we said last week about Phillips. Perhaps we're thre determining factor.

I would think we'd give Landis a shot before we pull the shirt off Brown.

We all know Rocco loves his Linebackers, but why does he have one playing Quarterback

Poor planning, perhaps? And a kink in Rocco's proverbial armor shows today? Methinks QB play is Rocco's kryptonite (from an offensive and defensive standpoint.)

This has easily been the worst half of football in the Rocco era.

If a pass is involved today it is bad news for us either way.

Can't blame it all on QB play b/c the secondary really needs to step up on defense... But I'd definitely rather it be a shoot-out instead of a SHUT OUT.

That is what I was saying. Anytime a pass in involved for either team it is bad for us today.

This half can't get over fast enough.

I think I may not waste the rest of my afternoon listening to this debacle. I have more productive things to do with my afternoon than to watch/listen to something where there is a refusal to do anything differently...howmany three and outs must we endure? At some point, a change has to be made and excuses need to cease as to why the QB play and offense is sputtering. Call a spade a spade and be proactive...this is beyond irritating.

I must disagree here. I rest the majority of it squarely on the offense/QB since all of their three and outs basically keep the defense on the field 70-80% of the time. They have no time to recoup or get their legs under them. There is no balance, thus the game gets counterweighted and the defense gets rundown which makes them even more prone to breakdowns in coverage.

The offense has to pull there weight, and right now they are shooting the defense in the back with every three and out.

we're tied for 1st right now? That's all I got. Does GW still run a spread? Ok, well there's always second.

Yes, but ... 356 yds of offense during the first half isn't good, and half of that came during the first quarter before you can really blame fatigue on the failure to contain.

Still, I do agree we have to make some major adjustments offensively. Brock just doesn't seem to be able to produce.

You make a good point there...Guess the defense is getting tired. Hopefully the TEAM will come out revamped after halftime.

the defense wasn't tired during the first quarter - if they were then we aren't conditioned and we all know that's not the case

Offense is looking better. Just can't let those opportunities pass w/o a score.

Just got in. Sorry to hear we are doing so lousy. It is a shame since we have so many seniors and some of them from 1A to see us go down like this. Not looking good for the rest of the season that is for sure. Feel sorry for Brock Smith who I think is way overhyped to begin with. Lets see with can salvage what is left in this game.

Its not like Brock is playing horrible...but since Rashad has come back they have completely forgot about zach terrell and getting him involved, and I think that is a huge, huge mistake...

The defense (from the sound of things) is just downright horrible...which is even more disappointing

Postman ... Brock played horrible when it mattered. He racked up all of his numbers with his team down by four touchdowns.
