Beej - I'm a fan of Jeff. I think he's done really well with our program and I defend him when people begin questioning if he's the guy to move us forward.

But this was a bad move. Get off your high horse of trying to make an impact on FlameFans and see that some things we do simply look bad. Doing this, especially after Hogue's comments in August, make two really good ADs look like middle school girls.

My question is why do you feel like it's your job to point it out publicly every time he does something that could be perceived negatively? If the man wants to make himself look bad, then he can dig his own hole. You don't have to grab your shovel and throw the dirt in top of him. If JLFJR doesn't like something he does/says, he can call him into his office and discuss it...privately...I doubt you'd see JLFJR posting about it on a public message board or tweeting about it or posting a critical status about it. If I'm gonna question something, I'd rather it be handled out of The court of public/social media opinion

I just looked at the photo he tweeted about - isn't he commenting on the conflicting stickers on the car (LU parking pass on the lower left/Coastal sticker on the upper right)?

Thats how I percieved it as well. Mean while back at the ranch(aka FF) they built a "Jump to conclusions Mat" and Lit it on fire.

Beej, cmon dude. Do you really believe what you're saying? If so, we should just close down FlameFans since it's not our job to comment publicly on the things that happen within Liberty University.

Well from the little boys restroom just outside the Liberty bubble here's SUPER JOHN chiming in again. After 4.5 years, nothing but truth from SJ! ... An Athlete Director acting like a fan, unbelievable, that's just unacceptable!

The Tweet is public domain Beej. Fair game to comment. It's not like SJ is ripping him for wearing brown socks with a black suit. The funny thing is that you chose to attack the messenger and not the message
So: Was it a dikc move or not?

No it's not. Just on hiatus.

I agree about the JB thing. I have great respect for him, but that was not cool. I went out of my way to thank the Coastal Fans I saw for coming to the burg... to congratulate them on their season and moving up.

Edit: I USED to be able to post YouTube bids correctly. Ugh

Actually I do. While yes this is a message board and yes we share opinions about all things Liberty, its not the job of people like you to follow JB around and microanalyze everything he does/says on social media...or at least to point it out. I mean I follow JB on Twitter too. You dont see me going around posting critical comments about stuff he posts on there that I may not like and describing him and another administrator at another school as "acting like middle school girls". I know that in my public (read: message board) persona, I don't question a lot of what the happens, but if you actually sat down and talked to me, you'd hear from a very different person. I generally try to keep my public and private thoughts separate because I have a lot of friends in a lot of different contexts.

If you sent it out that would be funny. When an AD does it, that's not

This is my exact thought.

It was either a petty dig at Coastal or publicly making fun of a Liberty student. Both aren't good looks for the AD. For a fan? Go for it.

Did BJ really compare what we say on here to Jerry Jr?

It's a matter of Professionalism. There are things I would LOVE to say at work but don't because they aren't professional. Funny but not professional. It's why I clean out my self filter every day.

If a car on campus, had a LU parking permit and a Coastal Carolina bumper sticker, it should have been towed.

But your glass is half empty when you filter

Remember the trolls and PC police need something to squeak about. Have some fun, keep'em busy!
