6- 5. Beat 1 team over .500. Got beat by a D2 regardless of how good. No 1A schools. Youngstown St was tough but better than UNC? Troy was pretty solid. I'm not sure this was tougher but it could be argued it's as tough

Certainly there is a talent gap that exists between 1993 and 2014; no one can compare teams/players from then with teams/players now. Also, there is no one comparable team to UNC on that 1993 schedule.
