Maybe a little. Based on the delivery, I doubt the voice on the video was a professional, and I suspect that was by design. Probably an older man from the area with connections to the school. The accent is certainly "local". It has a "Virginia gentleman" feel to it.
Ozzie died in 05 - near the end and also in certain roles - his diction was very similar to the guy in the vid. Great actor.

I have to say that, especially under the current circumstances, putting out content of this quality is a HUGE plus for our recruiting. I could absolutely see a kid who is "on the fence" watching this and saying, "yeah, that could be my home for 4 or 5 years".

When are we gonna know if LU had a game in September 5? And if so who they are playing? Cause I may need to go to ATL for a game

Not much of a fan of ND. But I hope the season is delayed for about a month. We may have a vaccine by then, so the snowflakes will be able to attend the games. Also there is waaaaay too much time between the end of the regular season and the Bowl games starting up.

I’m guessing shortly after the ACC makes it’s announcement, which should be next week hopefully.

Latest rumor is the ACC is going conference + 1. Likely the +1 is to preserve the SEC rivalry games (Clemson/SC, GT/UGA, Florida/Florida State, Louisville/Kentucky) and other high profile games (UNC/Auburn, NCSU/Miss State).

That could mean a UVA WVU match up in Atlanta on the 5th!

My guess would be the conferences would encourage teams without a P5 non-conference game to set up one. If the SEC and ACC both go conference +1, there will be a few teams in each league who don't have a +1 in the other league. It'd essentially be an ACC/SEC Challenge. If the Big XII jumps in with the same idea, it'd open it up more, but those teams aren't going to waste their extra game on Liberty unfortunately.

hahaha

Seriously though, It'll be a while. Even in the likely event our ACC games are cancelled, We will have to wait for Liberty to announce if a new game has been scheduled in its place.

We all know acc games are out and so is the meac which is 4. I havent heard any word on the other g5 teams which is what im interested in? Has anyone else?

If we are able to keep the rest and lose those 4 and replace them with jmu/elon army byu it wouldnt be all that bad. Home schedule would be better if we could get army or byu

The other option of double indy games plus fcs is still out there and is obvious what that looks like.

If there ever was a season where homefield means nothing this is probably it. The odds that we have fans in the stands is decreasing by the day.

Not if Jerry has anything to do with it.

As of right now, I believe 1,000 is the maximum for entertainment venues in VA.

Jerry wrote:“We’ve got a law firm poised to sue the governor if he tries has to stop us, or if he tries to say, ‘You have to have 50 percent attendance at ballgames or in classrooms, or you have to limit the size of classrooms,'” Falwell stated. “We don’t believe that 18- to 23-year-olds are at risk of any fatality.”

I agree with Jerry. This whole scamdemic is ridiculous and about nothing bu politics. I think many organizations want to sue, but don't want to be the ones doing it. I feel its the same with Churches and many individuals. Jerry probably would have many behind the scenes supporters.

You can even add the business exploit that occurred over the pass few months. Many billionaires have gained more as the average American are unemployed and most likely have nothing remaining in their savings. As people live in fear and wonder if games should be played or stadiums capacity of spectators, only the selective few receive approval to access their livlihood plus business normally and take in way more profit/ney worth. These are socialistic behavior and it makes one wonder what is really going on. So in some cases I don't blame Jerry about looking at the outcome that will benefit the school athletically and of course academically.

The ACC is looking at conference only plus one to preserve the rivalry games with the SEC (Florida v. Florida State, Georgia v. Georgia Tech, Clemson v. South Carolina, and Louisville v. Kentucky). If this is the route the ACC, Big 12, and SEC go - will Tech keep us on their schedule or try and hookup with TN? And what about NC State and Syracuse?

I heard Arkansas may be looking for a game.

Question for the football gurus: with everything in turmoil, will our road to a bowl game be easier, more difficult or stay the same.
