I might have admitted that back 15 or so years ago. Today, not so much. Glad he is doing Herman a solid by helping UT's already awesome class. The Dallas talent is ready to bounce today.

I dunno. I may have to come off my Art Briles prediction. I LOVE Bob Stoops coaching philosophy. The fact he's had some Big Game Debacles makes him a perfect fit for LU as well

Stoops is pulling a Urban Meyer. He will take a year off, then show up at Notre Dame for 2018 season.

We haven't used this one in a while, but I think it's appropriate here.

We need a pool on our coach in 2020. Let's not make the water about when we get a new coach, but rather who it will be.

It will be a big name. Dont laugh but depending on which way wind is blowing at a SEC school, the new coach will come from ACC.

Can you explain the relevance of the SEC in that statement? :?:

No, because if I did, a name would be "leaked".

Someone told me the scenario , and based on my knowledge of individual, it makes just enough sense to possibly become a reality.

Knowing TF is buds with ballcoach pretty much tells us where most of his "G-20" comes from. TF was an inside trader before HMO was a "gleam in his father's eye" :) That last expression is for :oldhag only. My dad, who has been with the Lord for over 20 years now, used to use it.

I tried to Google "G-20", but I'm not finding much. Is that a military term? :dontgetit
Also, isn't "gleam in his father's eye" a line Kevin Costner uses in that 1989 baseball classic, A Field of Dreams? :oldhag

I "misremembered" from ballcoach using the term before. It is G-2, not G-20 and I believe it refers to intellegence/information.

I think you are right on the FOD reference. I don't think Kevin ever met my dad, but he used to say "before you were a gleam in your father's eye" referring to things that happened well before my time. It was about as close as he ever got to innuendo.
