Does your hibernation also rule out any more pics of the inside of this building as it nears completion?

I hope that is not the case. All of those pictures were great.

It doesn't rule it out but time to do it may be an issue. Of course, after we move in mid-August (fingers crossed) all I'll have to do is walk down the hall.

“LU” is engraved on the tiling in the main bathroom. There will be a large Liberty Flames logo in the carpet of the locker room. The new custom-made weights will have Liberty’s logo built into the iron.

Those are some nice touches that I wasn't expecting to see. That place has got to make the coaches, staff, and players feel good about the commitment to the program.

To wit:

A minor upgrad to the stadium that's not being promoted. The concessions stands are being window-ed in.

In case you'd forgotten what the outside looks like

Workers putting the front glass on the main entrance

The lecture hall. The bit running down the middle of the ceiling is the track where the mobile wall will run.

Workers adding the front exterior pillars

The front porch/veranda w/ ticket office underneath.

LU IT is running network cable inside but I couldn't find a good shot that wasn't just a pile of blue cables. I am an artist after all.

LUIS. Ssssssss. Network cable isn't very exciting, though. I can agree with that. At least, not until it's turned on.

I wasn't aware the ticket office was going in inside the stair case like that. That should be interesting, i wonder how big that actually is?

That will be a gameday ticket office only. The rest of the time, you'll still go to Vines if you want tickets. What that office will do is put will call at the stadium instead of over a Vines, making it much easier on the fans. Walk-up ticket sales should be helped as well, I would think.

I am curious how the people who pick up tickets there will be getting to their seats. I doubt we're going to let them just walk around the building and out across the field. The only other options are up the hill and past the (current) visitor's locker room or out and around the entire stadium.

At the fireworks/TRBC thing, that's what we did. We walked past the FOC and up the hill and went through the stadium that way.

I guess it doesn't matter for me...I've got season tickets - Yeah!

But I hope that they still have the shed type ticket booth on the other side closer to the Religion hall as well.

It would be nice if people that paide could either park in the upper p1 lot and still get there tickets there, or people could park over in the p38 lot near the north campus and buy their tickets at the new ticket office, and then walk up around to where the old visitor's locker room is (I'm under the impression that the that won't be the visitor's locker room once the building is complete...the old home locker room will become the visitor's locker room - so they could put a gate there).

Now is that clear as mud - in other words I hope that they have ticket gates at each endzone, and continue to man that other entrance near Candler's for the students...3 gates in all - one just a clicking thing for student IDs...the other two for the paying people...

I went over last evening and a lot of the internal stuff is getting done. The lockers have been delivered and are waiting to be installed. The equipment cabinets have been delivered. Most of the plumbing is done (including Rocco's bathroom). Last night at 8:30 there was a crew of guys cutting tile for the shower floors. It's coming along.

I went by yesterday and It was looking pretty good. Is the front parking lot going to have a fountain or something? There was something round forming in the front of the building. Also, it doesn't really look like the picture that they have up right next to it. It actually looks better, but it's still funny to see.
