Unless you have some special way to bypass Greensboro and go straight from Burlington to Danville that I don't know about.

I drive an hour and a half one way to work at least once a week.

Try driving SIX hours in one night for a basketball game. Actually I think it was seven.

I want to add to this conversation and tell you about my many late night drives from lynchburg to Florida, but for some reason I don't think it fits in with this conversation....

We drove 16 hours to Key Largo this past summer.

I'm driving to Toronto a week from Tuesday.

when i went home for Christmas I was going to leave on a Saturday morning since I was working Friday night til 11....well, I got to my apartment, took a shower and decided I wanted to leave then....So I drove 12 hours home hyped up on every kind of energy drink known to man....

It was so great.....ok, so not really

I've never personally driven more than 5 hours straight.

I've been in a car for longer, but we took turns driving.

It takes five hours from Lynchburg to Myrtle, so that's where that number comes from.

yeah...besides the stops for gas and food...it was 12 hours straight through.....i have done that drive so many times now though that it doesn't phase me at all...the first time though...it was hell

That's what the guys I'm going to Toronto with said. They did it so often that it's nothing to them anymore.

For some reason, the four hour trip from home to Coastal seems shorter than the 2 and a half hour drive from home to here. Not all of the time, but sometimes it just feels like the drive here takes forever.

Two me, a two hour drive is nothing. I don't even blink an eye to it.

Four hour drives are fine.

Anything between I hate and I don't know why.

when driviing up here from Florida the longest part of the whole trip it seems is when I get onto 29 in Greensboro....it seems as if that strip of road last forever.....and I am not sure why that is....

I would love to go to Toronto...I love Canada...and SJ trust me there are A LOT of good looking girls there....you won't be disappointed...

US 220 from Greensboro to Rockingham is freaking horrible going to the beach.

ahhh yes....220....it was pretty bad when i went out there a couple years ago...but for some reason nothing seems to top that stretch of 29....I think its because I always think I am soooo close...but yeah...not really

sounds like a cool trip....I've been the New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia....so amazing over there....I wouldn't want the winters....but so nice in the summer for sure....PEI blew me away......and they only sell soda's in glass bottles there....and soda's in glass bottles taste so much better for some reason

oh- I regularly make the run to Maine and back to get my kid .

thats 7-8 hrs one way, pull in, load up the kid, pee, and turn around and drive the 7-8 hrs back.

usually leave at 0600 and pull back in the driveway that night a little before midnight
