I'm not defending his interviews earlier in the year, etc.

Just some confusion at the end.
Coach Gill and the OC were on it. Gill even waved everyone back after the first snap because they thought the officials blew the play dead too early (they did)
The heat of what moment? Even if there were going to be a handful of seconds left you rugby punt it out of bounds. It's a microcosm I think of the season. Instead of doing what the coaches ask he wants to do his own thing.
The bottom line: LU pays coach Gill 400k to make those decisions. Let him make them

Don't use what happened with Michigan as the rule for anything. They could run that play a thousand more times and they wouldn't duplicate that disaster. That was the exception.

It was...but it still happened. Could Josh have handled himself better despite that...absolutely!

Just because something happened, doesn't mean you use it for future decision making. That's why it's a terrible comparison.

And I may weigh 75 lbs again. I mean it happened once.

There was about 5 seconds to run off besides the 3 resets of the play clock. I´m thinking HCTC figured a 4 year starter 3 year captain should be able to figure out how to use that up taking 3 knees. Turns out he was right.

You may...you'll probably also be dead or near death but it may.
My point is anything can happen. That didn't give Josh a pass to act that way, but anything can happen. Josh could have run a play and then taken a knee. What if they turn the ball over and CCU ties or wins the game? What if (And this is a highly unlikely scenario) Josh botches the snap in victory formation and CCU recovers with time left? Stranger things have happened

Agreed...

All that said, Im just glad we won last night. We ended the season on a high note and we get a fresh start with a new starter at QB and some explosive talent at the skill positions. Just need the boys up front to step up.

We kinda sorta had to snap the ball. If not we get delay of game penalties and the clock would never start.

Josh Woodrum = JD McCoy
Do not blaspheme that great show! Besides JD was twice the QB as a HS freshman than JW as a 5th year senior
And what ever happened to Voodoo?

Jeff just tweeted a picture of car with a Coastal sticker and said, "wonder how this person is feeling today."

That's the petty crap that makes us look like a Little League team. It's no wonder people don't respect us when our AD is acting like a fan sitting in general admission. Have some class.

We get it. It hurts your feelings anytime anyone rags on Coastal. :beatinghorse

No it doesn't. They're not a good team and were severely overrated. That's who they are.

The AD can't be acting like a petty fan. I expect a tweet like that from Flames Nation, not the highest ranking official in Liberty Athletics. It's embarrassing to the program.

Not to mention, who died and made you the final arbiter of what is a classy move and what isn't? I mean did JB run over your cat or something?

I'm with SJ on this one. I thought it was a dikc move when the Coastal folks made the comment about not buying their way to FBS. That's a similar dikc move on JB's part

I've gotta agree with SJ right here. Our AD doesn't need to put that garbage on Twitter.

My point is, did he do something to cause SJ to hate him so much? If JB sneezed wrong he'd be posting on here about how it wasn't a classy move or he made a mistake or JB should be fired or something negative about him

Whoa BJ's love affair with Jon is officially over.

Administrators shouldn't act like fans. It was crap when coastal's admin did it to us and the stuff Jeff is doing is crap too. Both programs have superiority complexes that's for sure.

No it's not. Just on hiatus.

I agree about the JB thing. I have great respect for him, but that was not cool. I went out of my way to thank the Coastal Fans I saw for coming to the burg... to congratulate them on their season and moving up.
