That is not true for college football. For the NFL, yes, that applies but college is different. Or even if we just won the Big South, that would apply. But In college, you have to win your conference or your postseason fate is determined by eyes. In college, you are being judged every game. When you are in a position like we are, where we aren't going to win our conference and our chances of receiving an at-large bid is slim to none, you have to do everything you can to give yourselves a chance. That includes blowing teams out, especially bad teams. Somehow, I feel like our chances might be slightly better if we would have finished out by beating all of our opponents by 40 or more, rather than if we just survive these games against crappy teams.

This whole, "a win's a win, a loss is a loss" mentality is stupid for a college football team.

I agree with the Florida Fan. yet another reason I get po'd everytime we blow a shutout late in the game.

17-0 wouldve looked a lot better thats for sure.

I think the wind got QB confused. On the first play from scrimmage when he threw long, the WR had his man beat by several steps, and ball was over thrown. I think missing this throw affected him thru out game
