Just sick of that mentality. Can't see why people are so "okay" with lackluster performances and disappointing losses.

I think it's got to do with perspective and where one chooses to place LU football and sports in general on the scale of priorities in life. If it's at 10 out of 10 for you, then yeah it's a really big deal and absolutely not OK. If you put it around a 5 or 6, then it really stinks but life goes on and maybe we'll get them next time. You also tend to look for any bright spot and focus more on that. Makes it easier to sleep at night after those kind of games.
