Should be a great matchup this week with Norman. I imagine they will have him covering Chris whenever possible.

Chris now has 76 receptions, 1081 yards, and 15 tds.

He owns the single season record for yards and tds.

81 receptions is the single season record for receptions.

If he's out, CSU will HAVE to beat CCU for us to have a chance.

I hadn't seen it discussed much, and I'm sure there's people I just reminded.

Chris is now the all-time leading TD receptions leader.

He needs 26 receptions and 452 yards to be the all-time LU record holder for those 2 respective categories.

Chris Summers will enter his final scheduled home game in a Liberty uniform with the school’s all-time reception record within reach. He needs just seven catches Saturday to reach 177 and pass Pat Nelson to break a mark that’s stood for 20 years. With 159 more receiving yards in his final two games, he’ll break the 26-year-old school record held by Kelvin Edwards. Summers already holds the school’s all-time record for touchdown receptions.

I'm really hoping Summers gets an invite to the East-West Game. Senior Bowl invites have already gone out and I seriously doubt he received one. I think Chris is a 5th round prospect at best right now, but certainly improve his stock at a ASG. WRs are tricky though, look at a guy like Terrance Toliver last year that was slated as a 5-6th round guy and he went undrafted.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Asa goes to the Texas All-Star Game, ala the Kenrick Ellis route. All though I don't think Asa is a serious pro prospect. Hopefully he and Mike Brown will make their way into that ASG.

He needs 76 yards in the finale against Stony Brook to set the all time career yardage mark (and likely cement hall of fame status)
