I went by there last night after leaving the block party and they were doing some work on the south endzone lettering. Theyll probaby get the numbers on the student side in place today. This thing is really coming together quickly!

We had the same logo w/o the white background on the field last year and you couldn't see it. The logo ended up looking like a big red and blue smudge in the middle of the field. The white gives it some much-needed definition.

Of course I like the field regardless...but I'm on the fence about the logo with the white...not a big deal to me...I think I might like it better in person...so I'll see.

I'm really hoping that they paint the reserved seats below the blue seats white or red! Really hoping...although I don't think it's going to happen.

What happens is, people pay extra for the reserved seats, but anyone sits there...and you hate to move people. I'm going to try and be nice regardless and I guess let people sit our seats if worse comes to worse...but I'm going to start buying GA tickets if this happens this year.

From one of the pictures, it looks like the blue seats were removed...anyone know whats going on with that? (I guess I have somekind of seat fetish...that's all I seem to talk about...hockey rink seats, football seats, where the band should sit, etc...I don't know why).

I remember. I thought that might be due to the type of turf it was and it being worn down quickly. I figured this turf would hold it's color/definition. With green as a background, it does tend to lose it's pop, but I just like the way the logo looks on the walls in demoss (which might not be the way they are if the wall wasn't already white) rather than a white outline.

Obviously we should have an all white field. With green numbers and lines I would guess.
