Calvert had a great game today. No doubt he is the future QB.

I hope that the coaching staff has reminded Masha that while he has lost the starting job at qb, he has demonstrated a quality that is valuable and will outlast his ability to play football. While his production may have been called into question, his leadership cannot. It is a trait that will open more important doors outside of football.

For the time being, there will be new ways for him to contribute. Look forward to seeing how the staff utilizes his talents and traits.

As an objective outside observer who was vocal about Calvert getting the nod, that's why I'm reiterating in writing. See the bigger picture and take advantage!

It's a difficult thing to be young and talented, but then to also not get what you have worked for in the timing you determine. Stay positive. Trust that it's happened to many before you and that it has made stronger anyone who was willing.
