If you move the transfer portal back farther how are these students going to have time to commit to a new school, move and sign up for spring classes in time without serious negative inpacts to their education? The portal already goes until january 18th when spring classes have been going on for a week or two.

If schools and agents would stop leaking information to reporters every step of the way this wouldn't be an issue.

Do we have a press conference tomorrow, or Monday?

The media should stay out of coach searches, until a press conference is called.

I'd say no contacting a HC while his team is still playing (after regular season, Bowl game, or playoffs), eliminate the early signing period, and leave the portal as is. Leaving the portal alone doesn't punish the student and may even minimize the college free agency game.

Yea they removed it.

So does anyone know what the removed announcement was about? Just a screwup or do we have a problem?
