It was awesome to see the numbers and enthusiasm of the students. My son was there and said the atmosphere on that side was electrifying. Some on the Baptist side left early as well - mostly the seasoned citizens and families with little kids. My wife and I are diehards - show early, leave late 4QF

I have nothing to compare it to but it was definitely enjoyable and electric. The student side looked very exciting. Our side wasn't as energetic unless T-Shirts were being shot out of a cannon.

I'm bummed we will be missing next weeks game due to a trip to North Carolina.

The last time I was at a game, there were a bunch of students that completely covered themselves in glitter paint. It was awesome. They were loud and crazy and excited and invaded the Baptist side. My kids loved it! and so did I! My kids came dressed in head to toe in their LU gear and painted their faces and even spray dyed their hair. They were into the Liberty game because it's such a fun place to be. We were loud. We need more of that. That was last fall sometime.

Lots of students on the upper deck Baptist side, probably as overflow. I'm fine with that, as long as they don't stand up in front of me the whole game (which they didn't).

Haha, youre too kind postie...I don't have the kind of vision and foresight to be able to put together the kind of stuff that SJ, BrysOn_G, JDUB, TTL and TBGBGBG came up with (I sure as heck couldnt come up with something to the level of the Kelsey Goss prank). If he had passed it to me Id of probably served more as a figurehead and left the day to day stuff to much smarter people (that and I was preparing to make a comeback to the marching band to fill a hole there in experience for the managers)

Why is it that we are warned that throwing things from the stands will not be tolerated and then after each score by Liberty, streamers are thrown down onto those below? While I don't actually have a problem with the streamers, I do have a problem with popcorn being thrown down or drinks being spilled down.

One woman complained to the guy guarding the club level deck that kids were spitting on those below, but nothing was done.

This behavior combined with the now obstructed scoreboard and I won't sit under that area anymore.
