My guess is they're pouring some concrete steps leading down the hill. If so, good idea. When you have a lot of people using the grass it will keep an open path. I guess you could make room for the band at the bottom.

Might be pit for TV cameras.

You can see the broadcast stand wrapped in brick at the top of the berm on the student side. It would be cool to have cameras down in the bottom.

Field Level Box Seats? I sat in some at Bryant Denny in the south end zone. That would be awesome right there.

The seating map doesn't have a single section reserved for the band. Field level box seats would be pretty sweet though.

Looking at the price breakdown for the season tickets in conjunction with the maps, I could see the stadium being fairly evenly distributed. Also, GA season tickets are $65 to the public. That breaks down to about $11 per ticket. If Liberty Football has tickets that cheap, we actually might get more of the local population.

We also have a new logo for the season that will be plastered everywhere I imagine.

Renewed and put in for my FB season ticket preferences this year. A little change to parking, though. You now will be given three choices for parking based on points, level, and "first come first serve" for season ticket purchases. They no longer have the two lots at the bookstore broken into two flames club levels. It's all one lot now. The other two options I was given was by the baseball field and beside FOC. They also made everything "unrestricted" as far as member fees. They explained this would allow them to spread out donations to other sports...not just football, basketball, etc. (Which I had no problem with and liked). Not sure how that will work for tailgate passes. I prefer the bookstore parking lot due to tailgating area...but I'm sure they'll have areas set aside at other lots as well.

Reserved our tickets as well. However, we upgraded Flames club membership to park at the book store which now requires at minimum coaches level. I am glad I called to order. If I would have ordered online I would not have been privy to those changes. I would recommend from my rookie perspective of contacting your Flames club consultant to conduct business this year. The stadium even in low definition is looking like it is coming together well. :football :football :football

Based on the gravel they are putting down now I would say yes. If so, I like it. Low mantenence. Never gets muddy on a rainy day. Always green.

I'm not a fan of the teal turf at Coastal either.

Seriously, if we went with anything other than green I would find another team to watch.  These fields look horrible on TV and the team uni's usually blend with field. Don't get it?

Maybe that is college football's version of CAMO.

20Something, what is the "grey area" in the south endzone? Is that gravel? I wonder if they are putting in astroturf or field turf instead of regular grass?
#548873
If they were to fill in the south end zone what do you think the capacity would be 32k? I think if they were to fill that in with seats, down the road, I think that’s about all we would need. Maybe one day do something similar to Louisville in the other end zone (on a smaller scale). I think 40k is all we would really ever need.

It is gravel. It appears artificial is going to be used inside.

Fencing has also been put up to restrict access to the stadium. These pics may be harder to come by in the near future. Cider, you or I can swing by there any time we want, but I hope the out of town so enjoy the updates.
