We're still negotiating the final seating location with NC State. However, we are certainly doing our best to get everyone on the lower level and together. If there was a team/game they could accomodate based on outside ticket demand, it would be this one.

Does anyone know how many tickets they gave LU?

according to my friend at the Wolfpack Club they normally give the visiting team about 4000 tickets. He did not know how many they gave LU but said it should be close to that number

There is at least one. Can't remember the chain name, but it would be on Blue Ridge Rd. I think it is Ramada, but not 100% sure. Might want to try looking on Trinity Rd. too. Try this one too http://www.comfortsuites.com/hotel-rale ... lina-NC385. It is pretty close.

Also, any good CAMPGROUNDS nearby? I might consider pulling my pop-up camper down there for the weekend.

Here's a random tidbit...NC State (we are assuming) will be in the home red uniforms for this game...Liberty since 2006 has only lost one time when the other team has been in red uniforms...2009 @ Stony Brook. Liberty won three straight games (@ VMI in 2006, @ Youngstown State in 2008 and @ VMI in 2008) and then beat I-A/FBS Ball State last year

Wow. How long did that one take to come up with?

You know who Beej reminds me of? The random stat guy off of Little Big League.

I was listening to the Ball State game this morning and it kinda popped in my head. Id say I got that info in about 45 minutes and then headed to church.

"10 games that could go the little guys way in 2011" We made the list.
The game could and should be won up front where N.C. State is much bigger and stronger, but do not overlook a passionate QB with the ability to make plays. This one is much closer than the experts think.

It looks like I have talked my brother-in-law into going to the game with me! He's a Georgia Tech grad, so disliking other ACC teams makes him a Liberty fan by default in this situation.

I'm still trying to figure out what to wear, by the way.

I think for this game white or blue may be in order (since they wear red at NC State anyway)

Or just wear Red

I think that is the point of 01's conundrum NG...if we wear red (as normally is pushed by the AD), we basically look just like the NC State fans:

I would think that for this one game, going away from the red would be an idea

NC State did do a "Whiteout" for their opener two years ago. Given it was against South Carolina. But I wouldn't be surprised if they did something again given that it's the opener.

If we think we're as big of a deal as we are, we don't change what we wear for anybody. If we think we can play with the big boys, our fans should be the same way.
