If he is kept at QB the question is where is he going to find snaps in the first couple years because Landis is the #2 behind Brock and Id think he or Mike Brown will get first shot at being the starter in 09

JC makes a good point. We dont even know if we are going to get this guy not to mention we dont know who else Rocco and the boys are recruiting that hasnt had a discussion started on here.

This is why i said what I said. I have no idea if we are gonna land Brennan, but the thought that Spence is gonna start over Mike is REALLY what I was arguing...

Verbal commitments are beginning to roll in with National Signing Day less than a month away.

Furman has picked up verbal commitments from T.L. Hanna tight end Phillip Silverstein, and Westside Shrine Bowl linebacker Chris Wiley. Hanna quarterback Tyler Brennan, a North-South all-star, made his verbal pledge with Liberty following an official visit last weekend.

You can't do four-five year plans on anything. Suppose we get a real stud at QB that blows Brennan & Brown out of the water in '09. Suppose one of them gets injured... KK tried doing that with this plan:

01- Biff Parsons / RS JUCO Condon / RS Painter
02- JR Condon / FR Painter / RS Barley
03- SR Condon / SO Painter / FR Barley / 03 Recruit
04- JR Painter / SO Barley / 03 Recruit
05- SR Painter / JR Barley / 03 Recruit / 05 Recruit

Instead, it went:
01- Biff Parsons / RS JUCO Condon / RS Painter
02- JR Condon / FR Painter, or maybe not / RS Barley
03- I'm not really sure / Someone help me
