It was a boring game. It was never close, etc. Night games are exciting on their own because it's at night, etc. Today's game people didn't have as much energy going in and the game not being close didn't help.

The Game was pretty good, but I was thrown for a loop in the Pre-game stuff by the band.

Look I'm good with us ripping off stuff from big time colleges like the flame throwers, the first down, etc. But the dotting of the "I" by the tuba dude when they spelled Liberty (IN CURSIVE MIND YOU) was just silly.

JUST STOP!

Yeah the "atmosphere" was a little off from where it's been this year. For example, they played that lame "Let's Get Loud" song I don't know how many times. There was a weird beep coming across the PA every now and again. I even heard the default Windows XP error sound once.

I still had fun and my parents had a blast. Just some things I noticed.

Vince Redd made up for all of that, though.

It sounded like a radio battery going bad.
Vince is just sick! In a good way!

Medic, we only did that because Bentley called a timeout. I guess Coach didn't like it.

BTW- I'm assuming Rashad is a shoe-in for Offensive POTW (unless Brock beats him out- wouldn't THAT be amazing? )

and I must admit, blue-on-blue looks better than I thought it would. Still prefer red-on-blue

Lynchburg, Va.

The second-straight week and the fourth time this year, Liberty’s offense posted a 40-point showing, as the Flames thrilled a packed Williams Stadium with a resounding 48-14 victory over Presbyterian, Saturday afternoon.

The win pushes Liberty’s record to 5-3 on the year and marks the Flames six-straight home win, dating back to last year. The loss ends Presbyterian’s four-game winning streak, dropping the Blue Hose’s record back to 5-4.

Noah was perfect on the day.

And I wouldn't say "great" hands.

Unfortunately nobody got the drum major stand on the field during kickoff that delayed kickoff before the game on tape.

Mea culpa on that one...I tried to go around behind the band but they sent me back toward the Baptist side and I had to get some help. usually I take it over through the LU bench but I didn't see a lot of space there

Stuff I noticed:

Offense: Brock was absolutely amazing today, had very few mistakes, and always made good decisions. Also nice to see him connect long on a couple, he really came out firing today. Running was as good ias normal, although the oline somethimes looked eh. Recievers did an amazing job at getting open.

Defense:Solid in the first half, hit hard everyplay, but when we knew they were throwing we either sat back in the zone or man cover 2, and with man #7 was always open. Good enough play from them.

Special Teams: Noah hit FG's and they never kicked to us. Good job

Presby: Their punter should be at a higher level, watching him in practice punting 60 yards was unbelievable. Their coach is a dbag. Did not like the fact that on 4th and 6 down 27 or something with 4 minutes left they went for it instead of taking the points. Games over big guy. If anyone is upset about the Chris Luck TD, Bentley started it. Then while down 34 with 1:30 remaining hes passing all over the field, okay, but then 21 gets pummeled. Next play? A QB scramble. WHY????? He coaches like that theres gonna be nobody left.

appears some of their fans aren't happy w/ the playcalling either- esp the failure to score while in the red zone (esp from the ONE)

SuperJon wrote:The prank went great. I'm about to watch the video of it and hope to have it edited by Monday. Anyone know how to get video off a Comcast DVR to the computer?
If you don't have a video input that allows you to capture video on your computer, the easiest way is probably to get your hands on a DVD recorder, transfer the prank to DVD, rip and convert the DVD to an editable format and trim/edit using your preferred software. I usually use Final Cut.

You thought the weather may have kept people away? I didn't make it to the game, but I thought it was near-perfect football weather.
