Who cares anymore?

Can you imagine a bunch of dudes sitting behind computers talking about something stupid you did over a year ago? I understand why it's worth talking about when the incident just occured and even when they transferred in. If people haven't done enough searching on their own to find out that's their problem. We shouldn't keep digging up the past of these guys every time someone uninformed asks. It's been a long time. Let it go and look at how well he's carried himself here.

I guess W&M has a policy against accepting 1A transfers? No one is forced to transfer to LU unless they want to. Some work out, some don't, in most cases the ones that work out are worth our investment in the kid and their investment in LU. Last me I was at LU there was no razor wire around the campus holding the students/athletes in.

As far as I am concerned, it doesn't matter what a person did or didn't do prior to coming to LU as an athlete or as a student as long as it did not involve a violent crime. Given some more time/thought I may be swayed otherwise. Some kids need or want a more structured environment to be successful. Not all kids could play for Bobby Knight, some thrive in that atmosphere. That is what makes us all individuals.

We get a transfer every few years. Robert Livingston came in last Winter from Western Michigan. Most of our fans exhibit some jealousy around the transfer issue, because we will never have many due to academic requirements for transfers. It's tough to get in W&M as a Freshman...more difficult to transfer in.
