as a student of both liberty and UVA, i think that by the time 2013 comes around Liberty will first of all have larger enrollment than UVA, and that with the way our sports programs are going we will be more nationally recognized than we are and that the UVA Liberty game will be quite the match up. as far as jumbotrons go, Notre Dame doesnt have a jumbotron, and they seem to be faring pretty well. If we do get one, i agree that its a good idea to wait until stadium expansion, but being that this is liberty, that probably wont happen.

Forgive me for not reading every post since the last game...I've been in Cali all week huntin down grm.  So if this is already been posted just ignore it.

There'll be a Jumbotron...a rented one...at today's game, and each remaining game this year.

BTW, it was good meeting some o youse at the Tusculum tailgate.

Yea, there's about 2-3 threads on it right now. I drove by this morning. I hope it's not set up yet because what I saw was kinda small.

That's it...a 42-incher, I think.

It's something like 12' x 15'. I'm sure a permanent one, when it happens, will be much larger.

Much, much better than nothing, though!

i like those screens (projection screens?) they have in the vines center for bball games. those are pretty sweet. would something like that be too small for the football stadium?

projectors wouldn't work outside. The sunlight would basically make the picture invisible.

it looked great! i love being able to see replays! i'm sure by the 29 they will have developed stuff to put on them such as the words to the fight song and all.
my only complaint was that its a little small, but considering they just decided they were gettin it monday i guess you take what you can get on short notice. hopefully they'll get a bigger one for the next game, but if not its still a whole lots nicer than before
